One billion rubles raffled off in the New Year Russian Lotto draw!

On January 1, 2019, we raffled off one billion rubles in the 1264th New Year Russian Lotto draw!
It was the first time that just 1 person could win it. But fortune smiled upon two participants at once. Each of them received 500,000,000 rubles. The lucky winners were Oksana and Nikolai Miroshnichenko, spouses from Yekaterinburg, as well as Lyubov Dogorova and Sergey Dogorov, a married couple from St. Petersburg.
In addition, 150 prizes of one million rubles were raffled off to make 84 new millionaires. The rest of the one million prizes were divided among several participants.
The total figures are astonishing! In total, 5,157,258 tickets won in the New Year draw. The total sum of all prizes amounted to 2,297,890,643 rubles.
